Finnish yacht manufacturer XO Boats has launched a new surprise model: the adventure yacht XO EXPLR 44. XO's mission is to bring high-quality materials and naval architecture into adventure yachts, inspired by this aluminum adventure yacht. The XO EXPLR 44 is the first adventure yacht launched by XO. Made of 10/5mm marine-grade aluminum, the yacht can be equipped with 3x450hp or 2x600hp engines, reaching speeds of over 50 knots.
Built from aluminum like the most luxurious superyachts and vessels, this jewel of naval architecture provides ultimate performance, durability, and safety for true marine explorers. The adventure yacht EXPLR 44 is a highly anticipated and awaited new member of the XO fleet.

The EXPLR 44 has a total length of 44 feet and benefits greatly from the rigidity of aluminum. The vibrations and crashing of rough seas vanish, allowing the solid seaworthiness of the adventure yacht to be fully experienced. “In the design, we wanted to find ways to maximize interior space. Therefore, we created two equal-sized cabins—so it is not just a master cabin, but more like two luxury suites.”
We also wanted to provide extra stability for the yacht while maintaining XO's sporty look, which is why we lowered the central cabin,” says XO Boats' chief designer Jaakko Kantola.
The interior design is inspired by Nordic aesthetics, without forgetting a touch of luxury and extra comfort.
At the front, you will enjoy everything you expect from an adventure yacht's master cabin: a large double bed, a shower room, and good headroom, with plenty of light, changing space, and stylish details.
The aft cabin can be configured with a comfortable atrium, two single beds, or a large double bed with a head. Coupled with an extra berth in the wheelhouse, the EXPLR 44 can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people overnight, making it the perfect home for adventures on the waves.
“We believe that by placing the second suite under the aft deck, we have once again created something unique. In this category, it seems no other yacht has such innovation!” Kantola continues.
The air conditioning and heating of the EXPLR 44 provide a cozy shelter or an open-air atmosphere, ensuring comfort. There is space for solar panels on the roof, as well as rails for a roof rack to accommodate your bikes and sports gear. When you want to relax after exploring and enjoy a cocktail, the sunbeds at the bow and stern turn into the perfect leisure area.
