Nord Star boats are built to last for decades in the demanding Nordic climate. From 8-meter multifunctional boats to 15-meter custom luxury yachts, all Nord Star models feature exceptionally durable hulls, luxurious interiors, and first-class ride comfort and safety.
What gives these boats their perfection is a shipbuilding philosophy passed down through generations. Combined with modern, innovative construction methods, Nord Star is currently a beloved brand among true navigators in Northern European waters and a classic bestseller in the United States.
The Nord Star Brand Story: Since 1920
The initial framework of Linex-Boat Oy was created by the Lindkvist family, combining traditional Central-Ostrobothnian quality with a modern, production-oriented mindset.
Founder Sivert Lindkvist began building wooden fishing boats and workboats in the 1920s. When his sons, Rude and Sven, joined the shipbuilding trade, they began utilizing fiberglass as a material to manufacture leisure boats.
To this day, Rude's son, Olli Lindkvist, serves as the third-generation shipbuilder—responsible for the company's executive operations and construction.

Continuous Creation, Development, and a Lasting Family Tradition
The Lindkvists have built over 4,000 GRP boats in the 6-15 meter range, including leisure, work, official, and lifeboat vessels. The current Nord Star series embodies the entirety of the family's accumulated knowledge over the years.
Linex Boat's modern production facilities, advanced molding techniques, and dedicated personnel make the Nord Star Patrol a robust and stylish boat that meets the requirements of even the most demanding customers seeking quality craftsmanship.
